After the multitude of plot points Moffat dropped last episode, he tries to bring together this story into some sort of coherent form and resolution. The Doctor is imprisoned, Amy and Rory are perused to death, and River jumps off a building in NYC. Of course Canton sets the Doctor free, Amy & Rory are only playing dead, and they catch River in mid-air. The capture video of the Silence and splice it into the 1969 moon landing. Amy says she's pregnant. River continues to be cryptic. And we're left with the mysterious little girl in New York regenerating.... It's an ambitious and broad reaching story to kick off the season kicks the River Song thread up an octave.
