Amy's been held captive for more than 6 episodes, unbeknownst to her. Amy is also pregnant, really pregnant, and is in labor. And Rory's pissed off. He blows up Cyber Legions. He's gathering troops. He's on the war path. Francis Barber is stupendous as Madame Kovarian, best part of the whole thing. Moffat tosses in more fan wank and gratuitous use of his characters from the past season and a half. This episode boils down to the reveal that Amy and Rory's daughter Melody Pond will grow up to be River Song. Typical Moffat. While this isn't a two part story, the next episode is a good bookend to this one. One of the better episodes of the season and was a good mid-season cliffhanger.
